I was invited by Viktoria, of the Little Red Riding Truck, to attend this year's Winterfest. It's a German celebration for St. Nicolaus Day, located at the German American International School, in Menlo Park. My recent article, for Roaming Hunger, was about their food coverage of this event, so I couldn't pass an opportunity to experience a different culture and take some fun photos.

There were over 200 people in attendance with various vendors selling baked goods and arts & crafts. The Little Red Riding Truck was the only vendor selling the main entrees, which consisted of a beef roast, cabbage & spaetzle, bratwurst with German potato salad or frankfurters for the kids. It was a great time celebrating a holiday that isn't widely celebrated, here in the US and a fun place to shoot some photos. I hope you enjoy the photos below.
